What it can change, and whether it asks first
Creates campaigns, ad sets and ads, edits them, and turns paused items on, which “starts spending budget”. Source, checked 29 Oct 2026
New campaigns are created paused “for human review before going live”, and changes “require your authorization through your AI tool”. Source, checked 29 Oct 2026
Tera Ads: You choose for each connection whether your AI makes changes itself, asks you first, or only reads. With Ask me first, a change waits in Tera Ads until you approve it there, and your AI can’t approve it for you. Everything it creates starts paused and spends nothing until it is turned on.
Undo and limits
Undo: not published on Meta’s ads MCP server’s own pages.
Owners with full control of a business portfolio can allow or block chosen AI actions for each ad account, such as creating campaigns or editing budgets, and block budgets above an amount they set. Businesses that don’t see the setting in Meta Business Suite don’t have it yet. Source, checked 29 Oct 2026
Tera Ads: Every change is logged with who made it, and a pause, turn-on or budget change can be undone for 7 days. One budget change can at most triple a budget or cut it to a tenth, and assistants can make at most 50 changes a day to one business.
Profit after returns
Store profit after returns: not published on Meta’s ads MCP server’s own pages.
Tera Ads: Answers come from your store’s orders, returns and costs, so your AI sees profit after returns, not only the ROAS Meta reports.

Which to pick
Pick it if you want Meta’s own free connector, need catalogs, audiences or A/B tests from your AI, and don’t need your store’s profit.
