Tera Ads blog

Editorial standards

The blog exists to help brand owners make better ad decisions. These are the rules every article follows.

How we write

Seven rules, applied to every guide on the blog.

Who writes
Articles are written by the Tera Ads editorial team: the people who build Tera Ads and work with Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads and Shiprocket data every day.
Sources first
Platform behaviour is checked against the platform’s own documentation (Meta, Google, Shopify, Shiprocket). Each article that states platform or competitor facts shows the date those facts were checked.
Examples are labelled
Numbers in worked examples are illustrations, and the article says so. We never present an example as a customer result, and we don’t publish testimonials, logos or customer counts we can’t show.
Honest comparisons
When we compare tools, including our own, we use each vendor’s public pages on the date shown and link to them. If a vendor changes its pricing or features, the comparison is updated or marked as out of date.
Only live features
An article describes a Tera Ads feature only once customers can use it. Features still in development are called coming soon, or the article waits until they ship.
Kept current
Every article carries the date it was last updated. We review articles against their sources at least every six months and when a platform changes something that matters.
No paid placements
No company pays to appear in an article or a comparison, and we don’t use affiliate links.
